Though you may not be recognised as such, know that spirit sees you this way. That the All That Is honours and blesses your presence on this earth, with your memories, your learnings, your mistakes, and your victories.

You may well live in a time where the older ones are not revered, where they are cast aside to make way for the new and the shiny, but it wasn’t always thus.

There was a time, once, where you were held in the highest regard with the wrinkles on your face and the soreness in your knees, for you had witnessed life, you had seen times gone by, you had experienced loss, jubilation, difficulty, and joy. You were the ones the younglings turned to for sage words. You were the matriarch and the patriarch, the very embodiment of wisdom itself.

The times are changing, and you will once gain enter a world where the wisdom of age is understood once more. You will look in the mirror and realise what a magnificent being you are, and how blessed you are to still be walking this earth where so many are denied the opportunity.

As you settle into your later years, know that you are loved beyond measure. Know that you have brought great life and love to this earth, this planet we call Mother Earth, and that she honours your presence more than you can imagine.

You are wise, you are sage, you are life, you are loved.
