One thing I love about readings is how often deeper knowledge comes through that makes my heart lift, and I gasp at the wonders I am being shown. As if I am entering a secret doorway into a world of realities far, far beyond the material realm; a spiritual universe that sits alongside the physical.
We live in such a glorious universe, and yet it is a limited one if we use only our physical eyes. Like being in a mansion and thinking the room we’re sitting in is the sum of all parts. All the while, the universe waits patiently for us to turn and see its true glory through our spiritual eyes.
Today’s reading was one such case.
I saw fire as its spiritual self, not just as the explosion of oxygen and ignition. I have always felt a glorious spiritual presence with this element, but finer details emerged in this reading. One where its healing properties can be harnessed by those who struggle with the darker and colder winter months of the northern hemisphere. This winter cloak of darkness can bring in sadness and low mood in some, a lowering of vitality that is difficult to shift. As I spoke these words in the reading, fire stepped forward and said: ‘Come and sit with me’.
‘Come and sit with me, I will be your light’.
And I could see how gazing at fire, with no other distractions ~ no music, no phones, no talking ~ just a steady unbroken union of gaze and fire, brought its own version of light. A winter light. A light whose true magnificence is only seen in the darkest of nights. A light with equal capability to fill the pineal gland with the essence it needs to lift mood and return to wellbeing. An elemental king, a saviour, a winter rival to the summer sun.
It spoke of its power to bring presence deep into the being of the soul watching it. To be the reminder of the eternal nature of this soul and the brief shining moment that each life is. That the ‘you’ living this life is a you that has lived many, many lives, and will live many more to come.
Fire spoke of times gone by and times to come. Of times where it saved and times where it destroyed. A force to be reckoned with. But always bringing its higher nature, its spiritual essence, to remind those with eyes to see of the worlds beyond this world.
‘I am mighty, I am fire, I am light. In the darkness let me show you the oneness of all things, the power and glory of this universe. Come, sit with me. I am your light, and you will be restored.’
